You can reboot an instance when the instance hangs or updates to the applications on the instance require a reboot of the instance. The reboot operation is a graceful shutdown and subsequent restart of the instance. Once the instance reboots, it is available for use.
You must be a self-service user or an administrator to perform this operation.
To reboot an instance, follow the steps given below.
1. Log in to Clarity.
2. Click Instances in the left panel.
3. Select the checkbox for the instance that you want to reboot.

4. Click Reboot on the toolbar seen above the list of instances.
5. Click Reboot Instance.
6. Click Confirm.
The selected instance reboots. After reboot, the instance starts running and the applications on the instance are available.
